Marissa Wilson

Marissa is a Cleveland based product leader and entrepreneur. Passionate about business, innovation and personal development. 

Marissa graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ohio University and after graduation moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Public Relations. She landed an Assistant Publicist role with MSO PR where she worked for three years on campaigns for artists and festivals like Deadmau5, Adventure Club, Hard Fest, Made In America and Electric Zoo. 

In 2015 Marissa began a transition into technology and media working on the marketing teams for Enplug; an award-winning digital signage company that turns any screen into a real-time content hub and Blavity, Inc; a venture backed media company aimed at building beautiful products and experiences for Black Millennials. 

Through these experiences Marissa gained a breadth of knowledge in storytelling, marketing, product, growth and business strategy. 

Today Marissa leads the digital product team at Blavity, Inc where her role is to build, launch and scale digital products. She also consults small businesses looking to incorporate digital products into their digital strategy.
