As an experienced entrepreneur and consultant in financial service and financial products for 15 years, Asante is considered a (SME) subject matter expert in all disciplines of financing business startups and financial management, including competencies in all phases of capital finance, credit analysis, budget development, business development, financial ratios & assessments, market analysis & research, real estate development, business proposals and government contracts.

For over a decade Asante has focused on business development and financial lending products dedicated to small, medium and large business ventures. Asante earned his Finance Degree from Norfolk State University and is an experienced serial entrepreneur with previous businesses in a Real estate development, Residential Mortgages and Healthcare.

Asante’s most recent venture, Y BANK, was established in March 2019 as a boutique Fintech business development. We are a team of innovators and disruptors who are committed to driving economic growth in disenfranchised communities. We move industry forward by doing the necessary work that brings financial literacy and digital commerce to unbanked and underserved consumers. We are an approved City of Chicago Neighborhood Opportunity Fund (NOF) Technical Assistance provider, and we take pride in preparing clients to build and nurture ecosystem relationships with key stakeholders, connecting them with resources, training, and tools. Additionally, we provide foundational support during the duration of the loan process, spearheading end-to-end business development lifecycle.
